Top 5 B+ or Lower Teams To Use in NCAA 14

Sunday, June 9th, 2013

Any user can take Alabama and Notre Dame to the BCS, but users looking for a bit of a challenge with an established school should take a look at our top picks for B+ or lower teams in NCAA 14.

1. Georgia Tech – NCAA 14 will feature a new physics engine, a new focus on the running game, and added emphasis on the option. Perhaps no team will benefit more from a revamped option run system than the Yellow Jackets. Though QB Tevin Washington is gone, Tech will boast a solid offensive lineman at all 5 spots up front and several backs capable of hitting on a big run. It takes most users several games, or even a few seasons, to master the flexbone attack, but once you have a firm grasp of how to run the offense few teams are as fun to use – or watch – as Georgia Tech.

2. Northwestern – Coach Pat Fitzgerald is quietly turning Northwestern into a power, and the Wildcats can be deadly from the outset in the hands of the right user. QB Kain Colter is an underrated dual-threat, and should have the skills to play QB, RB and WR. When you want to move Colter around, the Wildcats will have a solid backup QB in Trevor Siemian. RB Venric Mark and an extremely deep WR group will provide Wildcat users with endless weapons on offense. The defense will boast a great player at each level and the fertile Illinois recruiting area will make Northwestern a team poised to break out in any dynasty.
