The Big East is wide open this year. We could see any of the teams we have listed 1-4 winning the conference, and it wouldn’t at all be shocking to see Cincinnati or Connecticut as well. Each team in the conference has some major questions they need to answer, but each team also has bright spots and some great potential. Teams will beat up on each other and there are no gimme games on any team’s conference slate. In the end, we think West Virginia defeats Pitt on Nov. 27th to lock up the conference crown…but be prepared for any of these teams to make a run at the top of the Big East in 2009.
