Brett Favre continues to pad his post-playing NFL analyst marketability with gobs and gobs of free PR as he drags out his career yet again.
The most recent victim? The Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have visions of the Kurt Warner success story dancing in their heads. The problem? Kurt Warner is better than Brett Favre.
The Minnesota Vikings officially made the NFC North a two team race between Chicago and Green Bay.

Hmmm…. Bears or Packer’s fan… Iowa City… lets see Bears??? No Packers. Either way. Your analysis/opinion is based on what? Analyze the situation from the Minnesota Vikings point of view. No-one wants to analyze this from the point of view of a team that was going to into the regular season with the WEAKEST QB position depth chart in the NFL. Kurt Warner better than Favre? We can cover this at the end of the season.
I just read the bottom of your original blog… “The Minnesota Vikings officially made the NFC North a two team race between Chicago and Green Bay.”
Brian – You could be the quarterback of the Vikings with the supporting cast and defense and still have a shot to win the North. Ever heard of a a guy from Oklahoma named Adrian? Brett Favre is exactly what this team needed.
Take away the media hoopla – dog and pony show and anyone can see that this was a great fit.
Again, I respectfully disagree. I would expect a more in depth analysis from such a great group here at game-rosters. No love lost – you guys are still the best.
Game-On
wow! boy were you wrong about Favre.
