  1. Colton says:

Aaron Williams of Texas not on the top 5 dbs??

  2. ford says:

What’s up with the sooners we know they still have lots of talent there. De Marco Murray, Jarvis Jones, and the linebackers espcially Travis and ronnell?

  3. Alek Kranbuhl says:

No Cameron Heyward? The kid should be a 96-97 easy.

  4. ward says:

its obvious this guy is a north carolina fanboy with him putting two d linemen 2 linebackers and 1 db in his top 5

  5. Mikah says:

where is ahmad black, where is jeff demps , where is janoris jenkins

  6. Cam says:

Didnt Ryan Williams have better numbers last year than all of those runningbacks besides Dion Lewis?

  7. Carter says:

Where’s oklahoma’s defense? our dline and linebackers are tuff. Ryan Broyles? he had 15 td’s with only 89 receptions. Broyles is sick he finds ways to score! broyles has to be a top receiver.

  8. rezin8 says:

Jared Crick, NU is getting hype as being the best DL in the country going into 2011 and he’s not even on your list. This is someone who Suh said will be better than him.

  9. skydye says:

You have lost your mind, wholio a top WR? he has’nt done jack yet. Hell that team down the road has Darvin Adams a better Wr then him.

  10. ciscopack says:

With that vaunted UNC defensive group, lowly NC State will be looking to go 4 wins – 0 losses versus Butch Davis, Marvin Austin, Bruce Carter, Quan Sturdivant and Deunta Williams and 3-0 vs. Robert Quinn.

  11. We do our best to research and predict what the ratings will be. Our predictions are not going to meet everyone’s expectations so please let us know about where we screwed up. For those of you who already have posts, thanks!

  12. Kevin says:

UNC Defense in top 5 for the last 5 years…Once again, they are preseason Giant killers. They will play a marginal LSU team and HOPE to win! It’s hilarious media continues to stroke the UNC johnson.

  13. Hawkeyes says:

How about Adrian Clayborne from Iowa for D-line? Tyler Sash at safety? Did you miss last college football season? If Iowa is a top 10 team they should have some top 5 players.

  14. Kegger McGee says:

Where is Daniel Thomas (running back) from K-State? He’s gotta be one of the early Heisman candidates!

  15. Thehell? says:

What are you basing your rankings/predictions on? Is it production? If so, then why is the other Boston College LBer not in the top 5? That guy is amazing and had a hell of a season. Or is this just based on who they play for, and how much hype they have? There are some rankinsg I can agree with, but most of these just aren’t good.

  16. Matt says:

are you kidding me? why do people still think julio jones is better than aj green? aj missed 4 games last year and still had better numbers than wholio. this is a joke aj is better by a mile.

  17. Al says:

No Adrian Clayborn? Even though he’s projected as a Top 10 pick in next year’s draft????? In fact many thought he could’ve been a first rounder this past year before he decided to stay…..sooooooooo, no Adrian Clayborn?

  18. mysticalguy84 says:

You have got to be kidding. What in the world make you think that guys that were just decent for UNC will be the top 5 at their positions this year in the country.

Robert Quinn is great, frankly should be number one at his position. Sturdivant is very very good.

Carter disappeared at the end of the year when the comp got better.

You must be a unc guy but this list has no ligitimacy at all.

  19. Walmart Wolverine says:

Where is Tate Forcier? He is one of the top quarterbacks in the Big Ten if not hte entire country. He should be rated at LEAST as high as Pryor. Obi Ezeh should be on the list at linebacker too.

  20. carolinadog says:

Based on your list North Carolina should be ranked #1 overall.

  21. Todd says:

WHere is the seondary from Texas? They are supposed to have one of the best secondaries in the country this year, and are deep at the corners…. Sounds like more homer rankings to me…

  22. rebelwr88 says:

I know it’s because he is from Southern Miss, but DeAndre Brown is easily a top 5 in the country

  23. ZB says:

What about Daniel Thomas? KSU running-back who was 1st Team ALL-BIG 12 vs. the likes of OU, Texas, and Nebraska defenses. 6-5 running back with the rare talent of size, strength and speed. Also projected first round pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. Give him some love.

  24. TexasReb says:

    BIG JERRELL POWE!!!Hotty Toddy!

  25. tbw17 says:

The game does it by projecting “talent,” not production. I hate Carolina as much as the next guy, but they project very high in the NFL draft…

  26. HawkI says:

if that were the case then where is clayborn? and there is no team of lawyers who could justify tate forcier as a top 5 qb…..maybe not even in the big 11

  27. Kevin D says:

people quit complainling about Julio Jones as the best receiver, he was injured much of last season and now is back to full health and will show why he is the best receiver in college football.

    ROLL TIDE ROLL!

  28. Wut says:

Daniel Thomas is very good. But he’s not 6-5 (did you watch K-State play last year? K-State’s own roster lists him at 6-2) and he’s not a Heisman candidate because K-State will lose too many games. Also, how can you say it was against the likes of Nebraska, Texas and OU defenses when he didn’t play Texas and didn’t run for 100 against either Nebraska or OU.

  29. Wise says:

Wasn’t too far off on some of these according to the demo and for the guy saying Forcier is up there, no… he isn’t

anyway Tate got a 86 ovr from EA for this game.

  30. tyler says:

how is there no miami players

  31. Bama FAN 123 says:

for all you haters julio is better than aj green julio battled with a broken wrist and a sprung ankle all last year but he came through when we needed him most (lsu and auburn game ) so quit hating and get ready for a repeat cuz aint no one stopping us

  32. Capt Obvious says:

To those bashing UNC player ratings, perhaps you should focus you rage on Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, Andy Staples, voting members of the Bronco Nagurski Award, Outland trophy, and All-American team voters.

Six members of the UNC defense are considered legitimate 1st round picks. I am not a Tarheels fan, I can just read other sports periodicals before making assumptions.

  33. NOLES 23 says:

Terrelle Pryor 95 overall and #2 QB? REALLY!!!!?????? What has he proved other than he can run fast (like a receiver) and lob rainbows for picks, throw more picks, have 1 or 2 DECENT games at BEST, and be extremely inconsistent? Wow, garbage.

  34. OCSPN says:

OCSPN.COM has actual legit predictions, having Powe as the top tackle is like picking the Cubs to win the World Series every year LOL. Gamerosters still solid site tho, keep up good work guys!

  35. Bigjuan2010 says:

I think it’s hilarious that the top QB on the games actual ratings is not on your Top 5. Kellen Moore from Boise St. is the top QB with a 96, Jake Locker is 2nd with a 91.

  36. Go hogs go says:

How in the hell is Pryor rated the same as Mallett? Simply ludacris.

  37. reevesd says:

how is marcel dareus of alabama not in the top 5 d-line?

  38. gopack17 says:

Ok, Marvin Austin had 42 tackles and 4 sacks last year and Adrian Clayborn had 63 tackles and 11 sacks? WTF? I counted 15 DT returning next year that had more sacks and more tackles. WOW

  39. dhall55 says:

I’m looking for a little school to build up with in dynasty when I get this game id like to have a decent rb and fairly fast qb any suggestions?

  40. Doug says:

yea i agree with mikah. where are all the Gators?

  41. Keith says:

    >> Ok, Marvin Austin had 42 tackles and 4 sacks last year and Adrian Clayborn had 63 tackles and 11 sacks? WTF? I counted 15 DT returning next year that had more sacks and more tackles. WOW

That is because Quinn, Cam Thomas (NFL), and E.J. Wilson (NFL) were all making several as well…plus our DL gets rotating frequently…there are 4 and 5 star players on the two deep on DEF as well.

  42. ukcatsfan says:

dhall55, how bout oregon. they have masolli on the game and hes fast and they have a pretty decent rb.

  43. johnnn says:

Boise State’s Kellen Moore not in top 5 QB?? He is one of two returning Heisman finalist… Had the least amount of interception in the entire NCAA. im pretty sure that right there is enough to put him in the the top five

  44. Rob Wilson says:

The big argument in the PAC10 is who is better, Quizz Rogers or LaMichael James of Oregon. James isn’t on your list. You should pull up his highlights on YouTube and he would be on your list.

  45. Michael says:

I don’t understand how Jonathan Baldwin isn’t a top 5 reciever. If you compare film or stats with the any of those guys there everyone will realize that he is more talented than those guys.

  46. Crimson Crazy says:

Yeah the guy that made the Tate Forcier comment must not have ever seen a Michigan football game.

  47. Chris says:

Not going to hate to much, Except no Clayborn, Heyward, no Stephen Paea, or James Rodgers, very crazy. And considering Mark Ingram was the heisman winner, I think he should be 99, with Quizz at about 97. What about LaMichael James though, I think he is just as good as Clay, and Lewis

    +1

  49. Justin says:

Mikah, You’re an idot if you think any of those trash players from the Florida Gators could even hang with guys like Ingrim,Locker and Marvin Austin.
And I agree with the person who said Terrel Pryor at 95 ovr. That guy has the talent of a middle school QB
    Just sayin

  50. Jared says:

okay on the 2012 cover should be denard robinson
